Friends of Malcom delight in his Facebook page, sharing beautiful photographs taken daily from his walks at dawn and sunset overlooking Oldwood Common. This painting is inspired by one of those photographs. The colours and atmospheric details are familiar to us all. I love the anticipation in this painting from the joy of knowing what is to follow and the pleasure it brings us.
